This note bounced and led to Morris' imprisonment.

States that he left notice of this at the house of Robert Morris, the endorser of the note. The second page is a copy of a note dated 15 March 1795 signed by a secretary for Morris and Nicholson promising to pay $5000. Blind stamp of notary on front.

Desires to buy the share because he wishes to consilidate the entire patent under one owner, making it more valuable, easier to manage, and better equiped to handle disputed claims over property. Also wants to make sure he owns the property outright, without any other debts or claims on it, othewise may not go through with the deal. Offering ten thousand dollars up front and ten thousand more a year later for the full share. Gives Winslow sixty days to accept or reject his offer.
