Asks him to check the town records and let him know if there if there is a record of transaction between Edward Quincy and anyone else for ore at the Simsbury mines. Livingston wants to buy it, but he heard that Quincy might have already sold it.

Account of General John Burgoyne's spending between September and December 1777. First page seems to be the final draft of the account. Mentions expenditures for cheese, horses, and for transporting the general's baggage. Kingston, one of Burgoyne's aids, paid out the money, which amounted to 60 pounds sterling. Kingston initialled the docket, which says a copy was left with a Mr. Collyer and that the account was reviewed on 18 December. Second separate page appears to be the first draft of this account. Date inferred due to this document's similarity to GLC01450.435.01. Lists officers' names, rank, days in service, and ration allowance, among other items. Clapp signs at the bottom of the page, certifying that "the several Officers above named actually served under my Command in the Northern Department agreeable to the several ranks and time above mentioned during which time they have drawn no more Provisions from the Publick stores than what is given Credit for in the foregoing Ration Accounts."
