Robert Fowle worked as a printer and publisher in Portsmouth and Exeter, New Hampshire until 1777.

Putnam was among the Massachusetts merchants stigmatized as Hutchinson "Addresses" for signing addresses to British Governor Hutchinson when he departed from Massachusetts in 1774. Some words are missing from paper loss at the edges of the document.
