Also notes, "Our Elections this day are unanimous for the old King & his second, - partie influence has had no effect on the votes for the latter," referring to a meeting of the Electoral College, which elected George Washington as president and John Adams as vice president.

Claims that General Charles Calvert Egerton ordered Johannes and thirty men to report to Kane immediately. Recalls that bridges into the city were burned "entirely by the police force under the immediate eye of the marshall."

Draft of a speech in which Harding reflects on the history of the railroad and his personal connection with it.
