Walter and Robert Cambridge inform their father of the prices they have received for trading his goods, and express relief that "those troublesome Banditti, who have pestered you for this longtime past are become tired of their own folly." With a letter from Robert Cambridge Livingston on p.3. Robert Cambridge explains that he is absolutely desititute, and implores his father to find him some means of subsistence, however "desperate" it may be.

Title: Affidavit regarding letters to Josias Loomes

In the affidavit, Robert Livingston, Jr. states that the two preceding letters addressed to Josias Loomes are true copies of the originals, and were delivered to Josias Loomes. The first letter is dated 17 January 1752, and instructs Loomes to remove himself from Robert, Jr.'s land, as he has caused a great deal of trouble and mischief. The second letter is dated 4 February 1752, and gives a severe warning to Loomes that he will be ejected and arrested if he does not remove himself from the Manor.

Title: to the Coroner of Hampshire re: order for the arrest of 2 men from Taghkanic

J. Williams, Clerk, commands the Coroner of Hampshire to arrest Robert and Johannis Van Deusen so that they may be brought before the Court of Common Pleas at Springfield. The two men have been accused of trespassing Josiah Loomis's land at Taghkanic, and cutting down his wheat and indian corn. They are expected to appear in court and pay Loomis for the damage. Followed by a statement signed by Abraham Burbank, Coroner, in which he notes that the two men have been arrested and commited to the jail at Springfield. He also notes that the document is a true copy.

Josiah Loomis, Brusie swears to remember that "Robert Livingston Esqr. the Original Patentee of the Mannor of Livingston Deceased, was in possession of the said Manor and in particular that part thereof Called Tahkanick above sixty years agoe and Further said that the said place called Taghkanick has Been possessed and Enjoyed by the said Robert Livingston and his heirs . . . for above Sixty years last past." In the trial of Robert and Johannis Van Deusen v. Josiah Loomis, William Williams declares: "That at several times dureing the life time of the late Phillip Livingston Esqr. Deceased he has heard Josiah Loomis Declare that he held the Lands which he then possessed at Tahkanick by leave from the said Phillip Livingston." He also states that he heard Loomis acknowledge Robert Livingston, Jr. as his landlord, who later ordered Loomis off of the land called Taghkanic.

Josiah Loomis, Thomis Loomis declares: "That about five Years agoe he heard his Brother Josiah Loomis declare that he held & possessed a Farm at Taghkanick by Leave of Philip Livingston Deceased, and that about a Year agoe the said Josiah Loomis Shewed this Deponent a Letter from Robert Livingston Junr. Esqr. of the Manor of Livingston Directed to him the Said Josiah which this Deponent read in which letter the said Robert Livingston Junr. forbid his the Said Josiah Continuing any Longer on the said Farm."
