Hopkins, Harold C., fl. 1918-1919
Autograph letter signed
Title: to Mrs. A.W. Hopkins
Writes to his mother that he will not be home as soon as he had hoped. Describes his chores and says that his current post is worse than being overseas. Angry about being held in New Jersey and say the YMCA has been unhelpful. He writes that he is no longer in the 21st Engineers but is now in the 153rd Depot Brigade. Is appalled that the army asked the boys at Camp Dix to re-enlist. Written on Army and Navy Young Men's Christian Association letterhead. Written at Camp Dix.
