Wetmore, William, 1749-1830
Autograph letter signed
Title: to Henry Knox
Discusses the claims on the Waldo Patent, and the appointment of referees to handle any disputes. Writes that "I presume you inferred that I could not wish to push the matter to a decision under improper circumstance, but as these claims ought to be inquired into & decided upon, and that as speedily as possible, I am glad to hear that you have no objection to the business and you may rest assured that all reasonable time will be allowed to investigate it."
