Mentions the Marquis de Lafayette and calls him "my honored friend." In his absence, refers her case to his friend Colonel [Benjamin] Hichborn. Encloses a letter (not present) to Hichborn and declares that Hichborn will do what he can to assist her. If Knox returns to Boston, he too will help.
