Some pages are either partially or completely torn out.

Explains how much he paid, and to how many militiamen. Believes the unpaid may apply at Fort Washington. Also explains that he advanced money to "Lewis," who was wounded and distressed; reminds Wilkinson that he authorized Swan to do so. Encloses two letters (not present).
