Long purple ink inscription of W. H. Chamberlain pasted on verso. Chamberlain claims to have spoken to Capt. J. Frank Richardson, who identified this ship as the "General Bragg." However, the inscription has been crossed out and the name "The General Bragg" has been struck on the recto." Graphite inscription on recto "(For the book)."
