One document detailing statements regarding Andrew Jackson dates circa 1828. The statements are from two men - "William Rogers" and "W.B." - claiming that Andrew Jackson was the illegitimate son of a prostitute - Fanny Jennings - and an enslaved man, "one fourth in the African blood." A acourt allegedly gave him his name and bound him to Lawyer Avery. Neither statement is dated or attested, and no location is given. The identity of William Rogers and W.B. is unknown.
