Title: [Arrest warrant for Sanford Noyes]

Arrest warrant for Sanford Noyes in response to a complaint by James Noyes and Thomas Noyes, who claimed that he owed them 1,700 dollars. The form is typed, but details such as name, crime, and date have been handwritten in. It was witnessed by Edward Wilcox, and signed by someone whose name is difficult to read. On the back of the warrant, a handwritten note from Sanford Noyes acknowledges the warrant and says that he will appear at any time during the August term.

Two letters from George Gordon, apparently in response to a request from F. B. Noyes for more information about the Wilder family and their role in the Revolutionary War. It reports that an Oliver Wilder was an important figure in the Colonial Wars and that a Moses Wilder was involved in the revolution. It also encloses a brief history on Oliver Wilder and an account written by Daniel Chesebrough in 1835 about a military encounter in Ireland in 1637. The documents are copies of the originals.
