One newspaper clipping printed by the Pacific Stars and Stripes newspaper dated February 4, 1970. Reports the marriage of S. Sgt. Dexter Hales and Phyllis Ann Sheets via ham-radio telephone. Sgt. Hales, a career soldier at Vung Tau, Vietnam, married Phyllis over the Military Affiliate Radio System-MARS. This clipping is mentioned in a letter as something he will be sending.
