Title: [Japanese Military Occupation Currency Fifty Sen]
A banknote worth fifty Sen, used in areas occupied by the Japanese Military. The reverse side is a blue and red engraving of an entrance to a village. Robert L. Stone made notes on an the side noting the bill as worth fifty sen with a picture of mountains printed in green. He wrote "Guam to Volcano Is. (Iwo Jima) 11/11/44. 431st Bomb Squadron 11th Bomb Group, December 15 Iwo Jima. Tinian to Bonin Is (Chichi + Haha Jima) (11/1/44)."
