Title: Testimony regarding the Livingston's rights to Taghkanic and the Manor
In the trial of Robert and Johannis Van Deusen v. Josiah Loomis, Brusie swears to remember that "Robert Livingston Esqr. the Original Patentee of the Mannor of Livingston Deceased, was in possession of the said Manor and in particular that part thereof Called Tahkanick above sixty years agoe and Further said that the said place called Taghkanick has Been possessed and Enjoyed by the said Robert Livingston and his heirs . . . for above Sixty years last past."
