Title: The Testimony of the people called Quakers, given forth by a meeting of the representatives of said people, in Pennsylvania and New-Jersey.
Title continues: "held at Philadelphia the twenty-fourth day of the first month, 1775." Communicates Quaker opposition to public resolutions created by the colonies against the legislature of Great Britain. Promotes lawful action to address the colonies' dissatisfaction without violence. "Signed in, and on behalf of the said meeting, James Pemberton, Clerk at this time." Evans 14052.
