A published eulogy of Alexander Hamilton given by Harrison Gray Otis on July 26, 1804, 14 days after Hamilton's death. This work follows the accomplishments of Hamilton from a young man to his death. Focusing on his intelligence and role in the creation of the government. There is a slight mention of Hamilton's publication of the Reynolds pamphlet "He shrunk from the imputation of misconduct in public life; and if his judgment ever misled him, it was only when warped by an excessive eagerness to vindicate himself at the expense of his discretion."

She mentions a Lady of both of theirs acquaintance and her lack of politeness in reciprocating invitations to events. Angelica inquires in her nephew Philip's education, and asks Elizabeth to "embrace my brother tell him how much I depend on him to form Philip for his country."

A letter from Angelica to her Mother. Angelica mentions her Father and a letter he sent mentioning her mother is healthy again and looks better. She mentions sending seeds that her father asked for. Angelica also mentions that there is a possibility of her family coming to England to visit and asks that they bring her sisters. Angelica also writes 'I wish to god I had been a boy; or an old maid and then I had never left you."

Angelica writes that she just took leave of her mother, presumably her mother in law, who is 88 years old. She fears that she will not see her again as Angelica will be leaving for America soon. Asks Elizabeth to tell Alexander that the man he sent to mend her principles is being talked about. The people about town say, "he looks so like "a good Honest tradesman" that they hope he will make a good Bargain."

Angelica introduces the Duke de Lioncourt, who is fleeing France for asylum in America. She describes him as a man who loves liberty with little sense and moderation. She claims that he introduced a better system of agriculture and bettered the lives of the lower class but has not got his reward, and with the "distress that has afflicted his unfortunate country, he like many more good men have been obliged to leave his possessions, and seek our Asylum in this country"

A letter to Philip discussing a possible disease outbreak in New York. Cornwall says fear of another Yellow Fever epidemic, like that in Philadelphia is high. However, so far all cases of disease have been contained to the first infected person's neighborhood. He mentions that in his opinion "at present I seldom ever recollect its being more healthy at this season of the year than now."
