The document is typed by Lt. Col. Hubert D. Barnes to the Adjutant General in Washington, D.C. There is a hand written note in the top left corner, and it is signed "Hubert D. Barnes." A paragraph is struck out in pen, and several spelling or grammar corrections in pen are made. Barnes indicates this month was very trying and hard for the troop. There was heavy bombing and artilllery fire, and a violent conflict took place at Villeroux. There is a list of casualties, K.I.A, and M.I.A. as well as troop and enemy damage reports. The last indicated stop was Bouillon, Belgium.
