He is expected to be home in three or four weeks, however now he is on "KP" tonight, for 24 hours. Every night he goes to bed at 4:30 am and arises at 5:30. He writes Joyce every day but does not have time to mail his letters because he is "working all day every day." In a postscript he asks for Joyce to write him.
