Title: to Robert Livingston re: warning of Governor Nicholson
John writes to warn his father of Governor Nicholson, who he believes has come to America to save the Queen money and delay all payments. He therefore regrets that Livingston may encounter a great deal of trouble in receiving the money due to him. John also writes of his own conflicts with Governor Hunter, and mentions that there is a great deal of illness in Boston at the moment. Docketed on address leaf.
