Title: to Robert Livingston re: Samuel Vetch's grievances against Nicholson
Margaret writes to ask her father to forward the contents of her letter to Gov. Hunter, who has failed to respond to her husband's complaints and inquiries. The letter gives a full account of Samuel Vetch's grievances against the "malice" of Genrall Nicholson. According to Samuel and Margaret Vetch, Nicholson broke into their house without a proper warrant, made numerous attempts to prevent Vetch from traveling to England, and unlawfully delayed payment due to Vetch for the maintenance of a garrison at Annapolis Royall.
