Moe is writing from Tacoma where he was visiting with Joe and Frank. They saw a movie, slept in the dormitory, then went to a picnic near Geneva Lake.

Moe found a seafood restaurant that was not that great. He is also glad she got along with Olga and so is Martin.

Moe has enclosed some photos of him during his recent trip to Seattle. He is heartbroken about one of the photographs, and asks Sylvia how the film came out. The photographs were not included with the item.

Moe has finally heard from Jim. He is glad Sylvia has heard from Bea. Moe also reports that Harry has been transferred to S.C.U.

Moe went to the Mack Village, but found it disappointing. He mentions again that he would like Sylvia to see a doctor concerning her "condition," but does not say what the condition is.

Moe got a letter from Morris Brannerman. He feels sorry for Joe Ellis was detailed to clean the mess hall and is glad that as a T-4, he does not get such details anymore.

Moe gushes about the sketch Sylvia made of Polgar's Palace in her previous letter, and showed it to his friends. He also mentions the first intelligent women he has met since he came into the army. Thanks Sylvia for the package, including the socks.

Moe describes the quiet days he has been having and refers to the gas crisis and tells Sylvia to make sure she's there to get her share, he mentions that the garage man gets some gas. He also describes the service club.

Moe is informed they will be there for two more months. He is also told there is the possibility of another furlough. Moe also reports that arrangements are underway for the Jewish holidays.

Moe reports that he will be getting a haircut later. He thanks Sylvia for the socks she sent, but has to cut the letter short so he can wait in line for his haircut.

Moe received a letter from Alvin saying he is still in Nashville, not North Carolina. He notes that Mad is afraid to go to Florida for a divorce because she is afraid Ben will be transferred elsewhere. He also asks after Bea.

Moe went into town, he is glad Sylvia had dinner with Sara and Sam. He tells her to watch what she eats and drinks.

Moe has been very sick, and has lost a tremendous amount of weight. He has however received a furlough of thirty days. Includes a note from Hy.

Moe had dinner with Joe, and stayed at the Rotary dormitory,. He also went window shopping on Pacific avenue, and stopped at an arcade. Moe is also glad to hear that Alvin has been classified as pilot material.
