This is because of two issues. The first concerns difficulties related to Winslow's inheritance of the property from Francis Waldo's estate. The second is the fact that one of the relatives now appears unwilling to sell their portion of the estate. However, believes there are ways to rectify these difficulties. The final pages of the letter are missing.
