Writes that he refrained from contacting Knox in the hopes of having more to report regarding the Eastern Lands in Maine, but everything is still unresolved. Plans to reside in Philadelphia to aid their business ventures, and also possibly to "avail [himself] of the bankruptcy statute in the State of Pennsylvania" in order for him to gain a "temporary relief."
