It will be offered to other war departments and all personnel, patients, and anyone else at the camp will be sent to other facilities. This clipping was enclosed with GLC09620.184.

A letter from President Reagan to Moorhead concerning an upcoming decision dealing with military deterrents. He asks that Moorhead support the decision to place 100 "peacekeeper" missiles at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base near Cheyenne, Wyoming. Reagan also writes "We all hope, however, that the Soviets will join us in seeking meaningful progress in arms control negotiations." He also mentions the commitments made to disarmament, including reducing ballistic missiles by one half, and ballistic missile warheads by one third. This letter is on White House stationery.

Honorable Discharge informational pamphlet. A small pamphlet encouraging soldiers to think ahead and to make sure they plan their future. It mentions the benefits of a honorable discharge and warns of the dangers of a less then honorable discharge. On the last page there are quotes from soldiers attempting to change their discharge status, "Work for an Honorable Discharge from the day to go in --- Until the day you come out Take the Smart Way Out -- It's Honorable."

He is letting Philip know that he will not be able to be there until after the election takes place.
