An autobiography by Senator Bob Dole recounting his time as a solider in Italy during World War II. It draws on letters that he sent to his family throughout his time in the army. This book was given to Sheila Stone and is inscribed "To Sheila, With appreciation for Bob's brave service and thanks to you for documenting it... Bob Dole." This book came with GLC09620.213.

An autobiography by Edward S. Greenbaum detailing his experiences as a lawyer and a solider. The book is inscribed "to Frieda Epstir [no relation to Bob Stone], Lots of good wishes and happy memories over the year, Edward Greenbaum." A note included with the collection writes "this is the book written by Bob's Uncle Edward Greenbaum who served from 1940 to after the war- and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his service. I believe this book is out of print."

Robert L. Stone's scrapbook from World War II. It contains 197 photos of living conditions, people, and small mementos such as newspaper clippings, tickets, and menus. It also includes a list of all 40 combat missions that were completed noting the date, location ad length of time it took. Also a part of Oahu, Hawaii and the Mariana Islands. Stone made notes on an the side noting the bill as worth fifty sen with a picture of mountains printed in green. He wrote "Guam to Volcano Is. (Iwo Jima) 11/11/44. 431st Bomb Squadron 11th Bomb Group, December 15 Iwo Jima. Tinian to Bonin Is (Chichi + Haha Jima) (11/1/44)."
