The committee was formed in response to reports of waste. Comments on the efforts of a Mr. Allen to have negative parts of the report pertaining to the fifth article removed. Discusses the reading of a confidential letter to the committee by John Holmes that was critical of the expenditures, which Crafts made a copy of (see GLC05634.03).
