Title: Dementions & cost of a 16 inch wall for a fore wall at the magazine at Springfield

Document states each side wall will be 116 feet long and the ends will be 52 feet wide. Provides costs for 70,560 bricks, sand, boards, timber, and the labor to lay the bricks. The total comes to £179.9.0. Though dated in pencil with the year 1779, this document is apparently an enclosure for GLC02437.03152, a letter to Henry Knox from June 1785. The letter was accompanied by several estimates for buildings and construction projects at the Springfield armory. One of the enclosures described in that letter matches the title of this document.

Lists accounts to the Thomas Flucker estate from 1746-1774, including land as well as notes, bonds, and mortgages owed to Flucker. The real estate was valued at £4947.9.7 1/2. The other items in the estate brought the full value to £5806.19.7 1/2. Date added later in pencil.

Title: Deeds an[d] other papers related to the patent estate

Lists the deeds and other paperwork from the Flucker estate. Interspersed are Knox's notes, many of them on the margins. The notes relate how valuable the property is in his eyes and also mentions any legal updates on specific pieces of property. Many of the deeds go back as far as the 1720s and 1730s, but the oldest one listed deals with the original deed to New Harbour in 1625. Knox numbers what appears to be the more valuable documents 201-214. The total cost or expense comes to £20.3.6 1/2. Docket might be unrelated. It has a list of names with what appears to be payment amounts next to each. This amounts to £181.9.4.

Title: An inventory of cannon &c brought from Ticonderoga

Evidently a working document, with entries added at various times; possibly part of a longer journal. The first page comprises a detailed inventory of 16 mortars and howitzers, and 43 cannon, with a total weight of 119,900 pounds, "brought from Ticonderoga December 10th 1775." Information includes composition (iron or brass), bore size and weight. Subsequent annotations amend figures and cite which armaments have been "Carr[ie]d."
