Parker also gives instructions for the striking of a small medal which would give the history of a larger medal. He lists the Indian and English names to be engraved: "Sagoyawatha or Red Jacket. "I do not wish to interfere in any way with Dr. Douglas' prospects, but as there have been many misstatements in the papers on this subject, I deem it proper to let you know just what he has received from mother for his attention to my father....."
