Moe describes his last day in Switzerland. They went to Basel, and found a cafe where they had cheese sandwiches and beer, they also found a chocolate shop. He finally had to catch the train back to camp. Written at Camp Boston

Moe says he bought a new camera. Now that restrictions on tires have been lifted, encouraged Sylvia to scout around for some new ones. He also notes the beginning of Rosh Hashanah. Written at Camp Boston

Moe reports that he went to town for the whole day, and attended services. He writes that while he has seen a lot of places, he is no longer interested, he just wants to come home. Written at Camp Boston
