Contains seven sections. The first section was written in Boston, on 31 October, to Henry Jackson from Jean-Baptiste de la Roche and Rosalie Bacler de Leval. They received correspondence from settlers who have threatened to leave the colony at Frenchman's Bay, Maine. They request land titles from Jackson, so that they can comply with the "just demand of [the] settlers."
