States that Andrew and Lucinda Murphy appoint Elhanan M. Mast, Lieutenant of Company 13th Regiment, Ohio Volunteers, as their attorney. Letter discusses compensation for the death of Lucinda Murphy's son, Joseph H. Sivisher, whom she had with her deceased husband, John H. Sivisher. Signed by both Andrew and Lucinda Murphy, as well as a witness, John H. Young.
