Also signed by Timothy Gifford (his mark), Jeremiah Gifford, and William Hicks, all residents of Dartmouth, who also give power of atttorney to Enos Gifford. Witnessed by Samuel Pack and Cornelius Bennet. Certified by Justice of the Peace [illegible] Richmond. Howard lists his profession as shipwright. The two Giffords are yeomen, and Hicks is an "inholder."
