Also signed by William Lane, Ann Lane, Sarah Bennett, Susannah Bennett, James McLellan, and Joseph Summirl. Describes the location of a parcel of land in the borough of Wilmington in the County of New Castle, Delaware, that Alice Bennett obtained by indenture land on 22 August 1782. Bennet made improvements upon the land, and when she died intestate the buildings passed onto to Ann, Sarah, and Susanna Bennett. Officiates the sale of the land and its improvements from William Lane, his wife Ann Bennett in addition to Sarah and Susanna Bennett to James McClellan for 750 pounds gold or sterling on 14 July 1788. Broom and Summirl were witnesses to the signatures. Broom served as the recorder.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
