Title: Findings of Colonial Commission detailed to investigate Livingston's affairs
The commission of William Lawrence, William Smith, and Sampson S. Broughton, as appointed by Governor of New York Edward Viscount Cornbury, have found that Livingston's allegations of malfeasance were true and that he was treated vindictively and unfairly. It was found by the commissions "humble opinion" that Livingston's Salaries should be reinstated, and all other requests for funds should be granted, as they were not unreasonable considering the "hardshipps" he had endured.
