Summer Seminars

Increase teacher commitment to high quality history teaching with Gilder Lehrman Institute’s summer seminars. Led by eminent historians, these weeklong seminars at colleges and universities throughout the United States and in the United Kingdom provide intellectual stimulation and a collaborative context for developing practical resources and strategies to take back to the classroom.

As part of your TAH Grant, you may reserve places for qualified teachers in these prestigious seminars, which require competitive application for non-TAHG participants. Teachers may also earn graduate credit for participation in summer seminars.

School districts are responsible for travel for TAH Grant participants. The Gilder Lehrman Institute provides room and board and will provide stipends to participants upon successful completion of the seminar.
