Curriculum Writing and Development
Work with our team of master teachers to discuss curriculum goals and implementation. We can help make connections with state standards, Common Core initiatives, and teacher needs in designing workshops and activities.
Classroom Resources and Unique Primary Sources
Partners receive discounts on resources and access to the unique primary sources in the Gilder Lehrman Collection. Workshops can be created around key documents. Workshops centered on vibrant and informative print and digital resources help engage students in the study of primary sources and American history. Through our professional development programs, your district will gain access to other Gilder Lehrman programs:
- The Affiliate School Program: a unique gateway to education resources, events, and tools designed to bring American history to life in the classroom.
- Districts can also reserve admission for teachers in the Teacher Seminar program. These intensive weeklong seminars with a renowned American historian are often life changing. We anticipate forty seminars in the summer of 2013, taking place at colleges and universities across the United States and in the United Kingdom.
- Traveling Exhibitions are available to partners to host in their district for a limited time, or purchase to own as a training tool and classroom resource. If you would like to commission a traveling exhibition on a specific historic subject, please call us to discuss the possibilities
