Summary of Content: Various stereocard and other smaller photograph prints, most unmounted, relating to the Civil War in Virginia. The images come from Thomas G. Knight, who worked in Brady’s studios (it is said) as a teenager. Carried on word processed inventory. Included are images of Gettysburg, Fredericksburg, Petersburg and various forts around Washington. Includes images of soldiers playing ball, some freedmen (unidentified location), Winfield Scott and battlefields with soldiers’ remains (Fredericksburg - Marye’s Heights; Gettysburg; trenches at Petersburg).
