Sends thanks for the "treasured photographs of Abraham Lincoln" taken by Smith's grandfather. States that he will take great care of them and will eventually donate them to the Museum at Abilene. Accompanied by the President's schedule for March 12, 1954, accepting the gift (see GLC07094.02).
