April. 18t 1882. left Ft Cummings at 9.45 am, Genl Fosyth, Capt Davis, Lieuts Guthrie, Mason, Wheeler & I care, Dr [inserted: Coikery] present. Troops F & H, 4" car, 1 man Co 'A' 13" Inf present. Kept Bayard road for 10 miles turned to left across country to Mimbres River, distance [illegible] about 22 miles. Amid in camp 4.10. pm.
