Considers acquiring a camp stove with which to do his own cooking. Also writes about "shipping" Stanton and says he would rather have a colored waiter. Asks if "Daily" knows anything about cooking and, if so, if he can join Coit in Annapolis.
Wednesday morning Nov 20, '61 Dear All - was very busy & all in confusion yesterday so that I could not write. Was fixing over my tent. Have bought a camp stove & now do my own cooking. Have to deliver my report this morning so cant write more now will more during day. I am thinking strongly of shipping Stanton. I had rather have a colored waiter. Does Daily know anything about cooking & can he come right on if I wish him. if so think I shall take him. Live high & cheap now. Chas
